Have the Business Catalyst Server Problems to Come to an End?

Business Catalyst Migration Announcement

In an update, posted to the company’s blog at 3AM on February 18, Australian EDT, Adobe-owned Business Catalyst announced its Sydney datacenter migration plan. Business Catalyst users had been suffering mail and service slowdowns for weeks, which the company blamed on legacy infrastructure in its Australian data center.

Business Catalyst said the dry-run had been successfully completed and that it had green lighted the migration plan.

Starting just after midnight on Sunday February 20, Business Catalyst said it will move all sites and its application infrastructure to a new datacenter in one bulk-move. The mass migration was expected to take around 6 hours.
During the move, all sites hosted on the old infrastructure, as well as Partner Portal access and new site creation will be unavailable, Business Catalyst said.

The company blog outlined steps its customers, mainly web design firms, should take to ensure smooth migration for their customers.
